Demonstration Woodlands
Demonstration woodlands are selected woodlands that illustrate innovative and good woodland establishment and management practices. The South Yorkshire Forest Partnership has pulled together a portfolio of demonstration woodlands that can be used by existing and prospective woodland owners and managers as models for future forestry projects.
The demonstration woodlands have been selected from both the private and public sector and a leaflet has been prepared for each woodland. Each leaflet contains a brief description of the site, together with its history, past and current management practices, location, access and details of who to contact for further information or to arrange a visit. Also included in the leaflets are details of community involvement, conservation and recreation.
