Forestry Resource Grants

The South Yorkshire Forest Partnership has been awarded funds under the European Objective 1 programme to develop forestry resources as a means of supporting economic growth and to provide opportunities for local communities. To assist in this work the Partnership has developed Forestry Resources Grants (FRG). These grants provide significant incentives for people to create and manage woodlands throughout South Yorkshire. They also aim to promote the use of the products coming out of South Yorkshire's woodlands. The FRG scheme has been very successful but some funding is still available.

Grants can be applied for for the following :-

. New planting
· Managing existing woodlands
· Harvesting, marketing and processing
